Radkey’s Nightmare Before Christmas, record bar
Radkey, consisting of three St. Joseph brothers, is essentially a contemporary take on the Misfits, with much better studio recording quality and (hopefully) more relevant lyrical content. 2021 was especially huge for the black punk-rock trio, as they found themselves chosen by Dave Grohl for tour with the Foo Fighters last summer. They also performed with Local H and sold several shows that they themselves had headlining. The group will begin their two-night victory lap in their beloved KC with all six hot hands on the deck at record bar, December 17, with guests Drop A Large and Multicolored death join them as part of The Bridge’s 20th anniversary concert series. The second night, December 18, will see the return of Drop A Grand and add Godzillionaire as an accompanying act. As is tradition with Radkey – nerds powerful to the core – this concert will be titled âUncanny X-Mas,â an ode to the classic X-Men series of the same name.

They have sold over 10 million albums, are one of the best-selling groups of the new millennium, and have performed two Christmas-themed tours since the overdose death of their founder, Paul O’Neill, in 2017. Kicked out of the live broadcast just last year, the arena-rock test tube baby concept group will revert to their old ways with a stop in Kansas City on Dec. 29 at T-Mobile. Center. The performance will be particularly special in that it marks the 25th anniversary of the band’s flagship album, Christmas Eve and other stories. The group will perform both a morning show at 3 p.m. and a headliner show at 8 p.m. Tickets for back-to-back appearances are still available starting at $ 46 and going up to around $ 100 depending on seat selection.
