Fan enthusiasm for the upcoming MCU movie Spider-Man No Way Home is huge. And that’s not surprising, considering both Sony and Marvel are selling the film as some sort of mini-Avengers. Along with Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Doctor Strange, the film also brings back several villains from previous Spider-Man franchises run by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield.
Electro (Jamie Foxx), Doctor Octopus (Alfred Molina), Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Sandman (Thomas Haden Church) and Lizard (Rhys Ifans) are confirmed to return.
After the film broke several pre-release ticket sales records in North America, reports claim that many are unable to book tickets for the film as cinema venues have collapsed.
Many fans have taken to social media sites to express their dismay and anger.
One of them tweeted: âWHY CAN’T I BUY MY SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME TICKETS @RegalMovies #SpiderMan.â Another wrote: âaaaahh, all sites crashed for #NoWayHome tickets #Spiderman “.
I have to select my #Spider Man seats on AMC, then he said he was going to charge me for both tickets, while also asking if they were A-List reservations or not. Backed up, picked other seats, then didn’t even give me the A-List option. I stood in line again, and now it crashed lmao

Another fan was more detailed: âI was able to select my #SpiderMan seats on AMC, then he said he was going to charge me for both tickets, while also asking if they were A-List reservations. or not. Backed up, picked other seats, then didn’t even give me the A-List option. I stood in line again, and now it crashed lmao.
Previously, the film had the biggest advanced ticket sales of any pandemic era movie according to Fandango. The movie’s ticket sales are bigger than any movie since Avengers: Endgame in 2019, and it’s a huge achievement during a global pandemic.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will be released on December 17th.
