December 2021 Pokemon Go Community Day rumors: who will be making the headlines?

Expectations are high for Pokemon Go’s December 2021 Community Day, and trainers already have a few theories on who might be the headliner (or headliners).

Community Days are the highlight of the month for many Pokemon Go players, highlighting a specific Pokemon with increased spawn rates, exclusive moves to unlock, and bonuses like Double XP or Stardust to help you upgrade. higher level.

While weekly Spotlight Hours are only 60 minutes long, Community Day events give players plenty of time to take advantage of all the features on offer. December 2021 is going to be even more special, as it will actually take place over a whole weekend.

Niantic has yet to announce who will headline Community Day in December 2021, but there is already a big theory out there about the Pokemon that it could be! Here’s everything we know so far and how to prepare for the event.

Pokemon Go December Community Day Headliner Rumors

Machop could return alongside all of the 2021 Community Day headliners.

The biggest theory right now is that Pokemon Go’s upcoming December Community Day will feature all Pokémon that have appeared in a Community Day throughout 2021, similar to previous December events.

This means that the following Pokémon should be available to encounter:

  • macho
  • Roselia
  • Fletchling
  • Snivy
  • Swablu
  • Gible
  • Tepig
  • Eevee
  • Oshawot
  • Dusk
  • Shinx

Community Day in December of last year actually featured two years of Community Day stars. If that happens again this year, Trainers will also be able to catch all of the 2020 headliners, including Magikarp, Abra, Charmander and Gastly.

This will be the perfect opportunity to see all the headliners you’ve missed and stock up on their candy. A few noteworthy points include Gible, who evolves into PvP star Garchomp, and Swablu, who requires a whopping 400 Candy to evolve.

Better yet, all of these Pokémon should feature the same exclusive Community Day moves they first appeared in their respective Community Day events. Some of these are great attacks, so plan ahead which ones you want.

When is the next community day in Pokemon Go?

How to Prepare for Community Day in December

3 Pokemon Go Poke Balls

Making sure you have enough Poke Balls is important for big events.

If you want to participate in a P0kemon Go Community Day, there are a few things you can do to prepare yourself and get the most out of the event:

  • Buy four Incense to use during the two days, as they will last longer than usual.
  • Record any Lure modules you have because they will last three hours during the event.
  • Stock up on Poke balls so that you can catch a lot of Pokémon in multiple capacities.
  • Empty your Pokémon storage in advance for any captures you make – this is especially important when there are multiple headliners!
  • Save Pinap berries to maximize your candy transport when catching Pokémon.

With so many headliners available, the best course of action for Community Day in December is to pick a few Pokémon and focus on them. You don’t want to waste precious resources on months you don’t care about.

We recommend targeting Swablu and Gible, as these are two rare encounters and can work well in the Go Battle League when fully evolved. If you don’t have the PvE star Machamp yet, Machop is another good choice.

It is likely that the headliners will be spread over the two days, which you should also factor in your planning. We’ll keep you posted with a timeline as soon as it’s announced, so be sure to check back soon.
