Place: Greenwich, Connecticut
Price: $ 8.595 million
White columns frame the front door which stands against a brick facade, a contrast reminiscent of American colonial architecture. Around this residence, well-maintained hedges are reminiscent of English gardens. Inside, the home is contemporary, awash in white, infused with style.
“It was meticulously renovated in 2017,” said Jennifer Leahy, listing agent at Douglas Elliman. “It has the grandeur of a very classic house but with open spaces that really lend themselves to a modern lifestyle.”
This dynamic begins to unfold at the entrance, where the foyer of the gallery stands on two floors. The owners “have organized parties here,” Ms. Leahy said, adding that the space can accommodate up to 60 people.

Beyond the foyer, a home is full of smart technology, fine woodwork, arched windows, patio doors and a host of unique elements. On the one hand, a mural by Belgian visual artist Adele Renault claims a wall in the dining room.
The rear of the residence opens onto a large lush lawn flanked by mature trees. “The beautiful thing is it’s a very flat backyard,” Ms. Leahy said. “You have this great space to play a game or have a fabulous party or tent event.”
Located on 13 acres behind private gates, this nearly 13,000 square foot home has eight bedrooms, seven full baths and two half baths. It also includes six gas and wood fireplaces as well as a garage for three cars.

Let your need for speed help those in need. A unique Porsche sports car will be offered in an online one-lot auction at RM Sotheby’s, with the proceeds going to a Covid-19 fund of United Way Worldwide, a non-profit organization. The auction will open on RM Sotheby’s online platform at 11:00 a.m. EDT on April 15, and close at 1:00 p.m. EDT on April 22. The auction is unqualified, which means that the highest bidder will own the car, along with a special price package to accompany the deal. The car, offered by Porsche Cars North America (PCNA), is the latest 991 generation of Porsche 911 sports cars to roll off the production line at the Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen plant in December 2019. The Porsche 911 replaced the model. 356 in 1963., and Generation 991, the seventh generation of 911, was released in 2011.
Inside, the house has a cinema room and a 3,000-bottle wine cellar. Outside, resting on the outskirts of the back yard is a swimming pool and tennis court, surrounded by a large lawn.
“You don’t look at your pool all year round or your tennis court,” Ms. Leahy. “You have this beautiful green space and all the woods behind it. It is absolutely spectacular.”
Located at Conyers Farm in Greenwich, Connecticut, the property is in an exclusive and upscale community known for its polo club, which is home to the famous White Birch team. Her private life has attracted celebrities for years, according to various media reports.
The residential plots here extend over a minimum of 10 acres, a feature that recalls the history of Conyers Farm. In 1980, Peter M. Brant, a world-class polo player, bought the mostly agricultural land for $ 18 million.
According to New York TimesMr. Brant divided the land into large residential lots which he said would promote and preserve the bucolic beauty of Conyers Farm. Today, the community includes various recreational opportunities.
“There are eight miles of roads to go,” Ms. Leahy said. “So you can exercise, walk the dog, all in the privacy of your own community.”
At the same time, Conyers Farm is an hour north of New York City and just 15 minutes from the local Westchester County Airport, serving a dozen cities.
